We have had to do a number of unscheduled server updates this month due to both the copy.fail vulnerability discovered in cpanel and linux distributions as well as for other issues that were discovered within the cpanel software. We had to make some temporary changes to server and DNS conditions while we addressed these issues and had to reboot numberous times in applying those updates.
We apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused our customers, but it was necessary due to the severity of the vulnerability.
